Herb RBC F5: Anemia with sports-related low red blood cell counts.
1. Anemia: In lab test, mice were put into 36 C water to swim four to five hours per day for nine days. Thereafter, the mice whose hemoglobin dropped more than 1gram were selected for further testing. The treatment group used F5 at 1.0g/d for five days, and the comparison group took FeSO4 pills. In the treatment group, hemoglobin is rose 18.92% while there was no change in the contrast group. The average swimming time to exhaustion was 272.1 minutes (4.5 hours) in the treatment group and 237.6 minutes (less than four hours) in the comparison group. 100 athletes with sport-related anemia took F5 for a week. 84 reported their RBC counts became normal (76.36%) and 20 close to normal (18.18%). The total effective rate was 94.6% and the average hemoglobin increased by 1.03gram.
Toxicity and side effects: There are no side effects or toxicity of F5. A very safe formula.
